Diamond Emerald is the Teacher's Teacher. She is a Special Educator,  Chapter Leader, Speaker, Author, and Minister in Training. At the start of the pandemic, she created videos to educate and inspire teachers on their ongoing journey. She wrote the book "Teach Like A Diamond: Dynamic Teaching for Today's Teacher" to help educators cope and stay resilient with her "Shine Brite" Framework. As an award-winning teacher, she is proud to be one of many Teachers doing the work!

Greg Monte is a UFT Delegate and special education social studies teacher in Brooklyn, as well as an adjunct professor for the City University of New York.  He has taught in New York City public schools for over ten years. He holds an MSEd in Adolescent Education and Special Education from Wagner College. He is a proud UFT activist who has lobbied Albany and organized members to defend our union's interests and make our voices heard in the halls of power and holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Political Science from the University at Albany's Nelson A. Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy.
